Find the artist within!

The Creative Arts Homeschool Enrichment Day exists to equip students with excellence in the creative arts, allowing students to worship God with their talents and abilities. Based on biblical principles and God’s unlimited creativity, we strive to inspire an entire generation of artists in order to bring hope to the world and positively influence culture.

We specializes in art, music, dance, performance, and media arts to provide a safe and exciting place in the community to learn and grow.

Meet the Teachers

Ms. Jillian Stapleton

Director, Coach, and Instructor for Visual Art and Theatrical Productions

Jillian loved to draw, paint, sing, and perform in musicals in her local Summer Theater Program and Gratiot County Players theater group beginning at age 6 where she landed her first role as Amy in Tom Sawyer, she played Alice in Alice in Wonderland, and the part of Mary Poppins in a Broadway Review. Having parents who supported her theater, singing, and visual art interests she was privileged to finish her high school career graduating from a private boarding school, Interlochen Arts Academy, in Northern Michigan.

Graduating her senior year as a Visual Art major with an emphasis in sculpture and painting, and attending an additional post-graduate year as a Voice Major with an emphasis in Classical Performance and Opera Workshop playing the role of, Mercedes, in Carmen and, Eponine, (Les Misérables) in Interlochen’s Best of Broadway Production. She then went on to attend Alma College, graduating in 2004 with a BFA degree in Visual Art, majoring in painting and sculpture. After college she attended one year of ministry training at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.

Shortly after she reunited with her high school sweetheart and after marrying, they both attended four years of Bible Training Institute at Mount Hope Church in Lansing, MI. In that time, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters. Since graduating, marrying, and having children she has taught children in a variety of educational and arts platforms for many years in the Greater Lansing area such as East Lansing Community Summer Program (2008), Hope Kidz Band (2012-2015), New Covenant Christian School (2015-2016), Hope Academy (2016-2018), Dewitt Public Library (2017-2019), Jubal Arts Dance Studio (2019-2022), Great Commission Dance Studios (2023). Jillian performed with her Dance Fundamentals class as Mother Ginger in the Jubal Arts 2023 recital.

Her teaching focuses include visual art, voice, theater, play writing, and theater production. Jillian believes all artforms are meant to complement one another and in using them for the glory of King Jesus; demonstrates our Creator God to others, brings unity to the body of Christ, and beautifully depicts the worship in heaven that takes place around the throne of God.
