SUMMARY:Pastor Appreciation Day - Richard Crisco
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 8 | 8:30 & 10:30 am\nYou are invited to join us for Pastor Appreciation Day on Sunday\, October 8\, 2017. Learn about the power of honor as we take time to thank God for our pastor\, Kevin Berry\, and his wife\, Renee. To help with this very special day\, we are excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Pastor Richard Crisco. \nIf you don’t know Richard\, you are in for a treat! He served as the Pastor of Student Ministries in the midst of one of the largest revivals in American history at Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola\, Florida. He then served as the President of the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. In May 2004\, Richard came to Michigan to serve as the lead pastor at Rochester Christian Church. His passion is contagious\, and one area he delights to share about is that of honor. \nHonor\nAt Mount Hope Church\, we also believe in the power of honor. God’s Word teaches us that honor follows the humble (Proverbs 18:12 NLT) and that it is appropriate for us to thank God for a great pastor\, a role that Christ calls a “gift to the Body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11 NLT). \nPastor Kevin has faithfully served the people of Mount Hope Church for close to four decades—ever since he was invited to lead a Bible study at the early age of 15. He has poured out his life into others\, from leading a successful youth ministry for 15 years to raising and equipping leaders and ministers who now serve all over the world. Pastor Kevin and Renee reflect God’s love for you in the way they serve—diligently seeking God in prayer\, teaching His Word\, and carrying God’s vision for His church. They are remarkable people\, and we invite you to join us in thanking God for them and blessing them. \nShare Your Love\nWill you continue to pray for Pastor Kevin and Renee? Your faith-filled prayers are cherished and so effective! We also ask that you might take some time to share how much they mean to you personally—let them know how the ministry of Mount Hope Church has made a difference in your life. Your encouraging words have the power to strengthen and refresh them so much! \nIn the weeks prior to Pastor Appreciation Sunday\, there will be special note-envelopes available to pick up at the Info Hubs. Please take a moment to write a brief note and bring it with you to Pastor Appreciation Day on Sunday\, October 8\, 2017. If you also desire to honor Pastor Kevin and Renee with a monetary gift\, please feel free to use the note-envelope in that way as well. (Please note: for tax purposes\, checks should be made directly to “Kevin and Renee Berry.”) Thank you! \n“Humility ends in honor.” Proverbs 18:12 (TLB) \n
