Pastor Billy has an amazing story of how God miraculously healed him and he shares this truth that “God is a healer” all across the world. \nChildren’s ministry will be available during all Sunday services. \nMonday Healing Class (Capacity Filled)\nMonday\, August 6 at 6:30pm \nAs believers\, we were created to call heaven down to earth and bring healing and miracles in our daily lives. Join Pastor Billy Burke as he instructs us how to hear the voice of the Lord and learn how to claim this healing for ourselves and others. \nLocation: Gilead Healing Center Symposium\nRegistration Required—Limited Seating \nChildcare not available at Healing Class. \n  \nMonday Healing Class Capacity Filled\n  \n\n\n\nBilly Burke’s Story\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAt the tender age of 9\, with only a few days to live due to terminal brain cancer\, Billy Burke was discharged from the hospital against doctor’s wishes. This decision was greatly influenced by his grandmother who was a faithful listener of the Kathryn Kuhlman Ministry\, headquartered in Pittsburgh\, PA. Billy’s grandmother believed that if she could get him into one of Ms. Kuhlman’s services\, he would be healed. After his hospital discharge\, Billy’s grandmother would constantly say to him\, “When she touches you\, you will be healed.” Thus preparing him for the miracle that was about to take place. Shortly after\, Billy found himself in Ms. Kuhlman’s meeting at the First Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh\, seated in the balcony among a couple thousand people. In a moment\, Ms. Kuhlman called for him. With assistance from the ushers\, young Billy was brought down to stand in front of her. As her hand reached for him\, he remembered the words of his grandmother\, “When she touches you…”Ms. Kuhlman touched him\, and the cancer was gone! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nAs Billy described:\n\n\n\n“It felt like every cell in my body was charged as though I had been electrocuted with 100\,000 volts! I was pinned to the floor and could not move. It was wonderful!” \n  \n\n\n\n\nBilly’s Prodigal Years…\n\n\n\n\n\nAs Billy entered his teenage years\, he began to make choices that led him away from the God he knew and trusted as a young boy. He became a prodigal who went the way of the world and his sins separated him from God. Still very aware of the voice of the Holy Spirit\, and still very conscious of what God had done through the ministry of Kathryn Kuhlman\, Billy continued to drift further and further away. Billy’s grandmother and his mother continued to pray relentlessly that the Healing Jesus of his youth would again intervene\, have mercy and get Billy back on track. Billy says to this day that even in his darkest hours away from the Lord he could feel the prayers of his grandmother who would not let go of his destiny. \n\nBilly’s Brother Tragically Killed…\nSuddenly\, at the age of 19\, Billy’s younger brother was killed by a drunk driver. This devastated Billy and he began to search for the reason of why he was spared of a horrible disease. He was miraculously healed and yet his younger brother was taken. He had no peace and could find no answers. Billy believes it was at this time that there was a fresh awakening inside of him regarding eternity\, and he realized that sometimes when someone very close to you is suddenly gone\, it creates a new reality concerning your belief system of who God is\, and most of all\, who God is to you.Billy’s heart had become tender again and was opened to the Holy Spirit’s direction. The prodigal was coming home. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n  \nA Call from Ms. Kuhlman’s Office…\nIt was then that Billy received a phone call from Maggie Hartner\, the secretary of Kathryn Kuhlman. He was asked to meet Kathryn at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown\, Ohio. Kathryn had asked Billy to come and share his testimony of what God had done some nine years earlier. This was the first step back to God’s purpose and the beginning of a whole new life. Since that day Billy has never looked back and regards his appointment with the Kathryn Kuhlman Ministry as the plan of God to introduce him to the Healing Jesus. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nBilly Answers the Call…\nAfter Ms. Kuhlman went to be with the Lord\, Billy was aware of a pastor in California that worked very closely with her. His name wasPastor Ralph Wilkerson who pastored the Melodyland Christian Center in Anaheim\, CA. Because of Pastor Wilkerson’s close association to Ms. Kuhlman\, Billy felt that was the place he needed to be to learn more about the working of the Holy Spirit that was such a major emphasis of her ministry. It was at Melodyland that Billy began the ministry the Holy Spirit had been preparing him for. Billy is so grateful today for the ministry of Pastor Ralph and Allene Wilkerson\, who answered the call and paid the price to continue to emphasize that miracles are for today\, and that with God all things are possible! \n\nToday…\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday\, after years and years of trials and testing\, of purging and refining\, God is able to use Billy all around the globe. Pastor Billy’s compassion and powerful demonstration of God’s power transcends denominational lines\, touching people’s lives one at a time! God has given him a gift to impart faith that brings about the miraculous\, manifesting physical healings\, breaking yokes\, and setting captives free! From creative physical miracles to deep emotional inner healings\, whether through healing crusades\, television\, radio or the internet\, testimonies continue to confirm that the same Healing Jesus who healed Billy Burke\, is still available to heal people today. \n

The community gardens for the Garden Project does just that. \nThis program provides access to land\, how-to education\, free seeds and plants\, tool lending\, a networking hub and more.
