Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
When Jesus came and lived on the earth, He demonstrated what it looks like to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth. Jesus exhibited a rich closeness with God like never seen before, showed compassion beyond comprehension, extended love to the unlovable, and gave so extravagantly that He gave His life for us.
This same charge is given to you and me today—to continue this adventure in partnering with Heaven and believing for His Kingdom to Come. As the holiday season approaches, let’s discover the unique joy that comes by praying, loving, and serving in the same way Jesus did through bountiful acts of generosity, kindness, and love.
$1 Million toward Current Missions Projects
As we look to 2022, we feel the urgency of heaven! We urgently need to continue to raise, train, and equip 500 individual missions and outreach intercessors who will weekly release protection, wisdom, and favor across the sea. Our focus is the Middle East—believing for radical change in the hearts of the people in Afghanistan, Yemen, Egypt, and the surrounding countries. Lives will forever be changed because of you and your faithfulness to pray, love, and serve.
$.75 Million toward Local Missions & Campus Development
Inside our Soul Zone, a 50-mile radius around Mount Hope Church, there are over 1.5 million people who need to hear the gospel and to be discipled. We know that local churches making community impacts can lead to great transformation in Michigan. In 2022, we are praying for new campuses in East Lansing, Jackson, North Lansing, and more, while partnering with family-building programs focussed towards homelessness, foster care systems, and refugees.

Current 2022 Missions Projects – $1,000,000
Every penny given to these Missions Projects will be matched!

The Banchada People – $549,000
Madhya Pradesh, Southeast Asia
Around 60,000 people who live in 76 villages in the Madhya Pradesh region belong to the lowest class their country. These people have little to no hope to leave their social class and are extremely poor with very low literacy rate.
For over 500 years, Banchada people have sold their daughters into sexual slavery. This 500 year-old tradition leaves the males with no remorse as they feel they have divine sanction to initiate their daughters to this trade. Between the ages of ten and twelve, girls are sold to older men to become “wives” with 100% of girls dropping out of school by the time they reach 5th grade.
We are determined to change the destinies of these girls and people group. Our goal is to have Missionary presence in all 76 Banchada villages through church planting. Mount Hope partners are reaching out and building relationships with the families, teaching them there is another way of life, that their children don’t have to continue the cycle of prostitution and disease.
- We are providing medical treatment for expecting mothers and children with HIV.
- Your giving is building schools to provide education for children beyond 5th grade – an option for them to have a better life and future.
- Building homes to provide safe housing for rescued and abandoned children.

The Afghanistan Project – $50,000
Our heart is to serve the people of Afghanistan by empowering and equipping those on the front lines and building a strong community worldwide. Our prayer:
- Lord, we lift up the people of Afghanistan to You right now. We pray that You would take hold of them and help them walk through this fearful time. We pray Psalm 91 and Psalm 23 over them. Protect them under Your wing and help them feel the comfort and peace that only comes from Your powerful presence.
- We pray that truth and light would be revealed, and for the hearts of the Taliban to be changed. Just as You did with Saul, we pray for “Damascus” encounters that would lead to repentance.
- Lord, protect the women and children. Hear their cries and keep them safe from wickedness and manipulation. Grant them Your peace, freedom, and comfort.

Church Plant in Sudan – $30,000
Khartoum, Sudan
Several years ago, Alberto Sosa, a great missionary from Paraguay, ran a Crossfit Gym in Alexandria. That gym is doing better than ever and is now being run by a group of local believers.
Alberto and his family are now relocating to Sudan and have obtained official recognition for the Assemblies of God in Sudan where he and his wife have been issued “missionary visas.” This is a first for this country! A partner church has invested in helping Alberto ramp up an online church presence, which is going strong. This investment will help in some of the practicalities of a physical church plant in Khartoum, Sudan.

Church Plant in New Zealand – $60,000
Auckland, New Zealand
With 1.6 million very ethnically diverse residents, Auckland is the largest city on the secularized island-nation of New Zealand and home to thirty-three percent of the country’s total population. This new international, multicultural church will be a giant beacon of light to the city.
Funds for this project will go to assist with the church plant’s first year’s facility rental, furnishings and chairs, and audiovisual/sound equipment.

Day Camps in West Bank – $30,000
West Bank
Through Global University, we have previously helped fund Ross Byers and his Summer Camp program in the West Bank. These programs reach tens of thousands of homes in the West Bank, and have been proven to be a gateway into homes to extend hope and the Gospel with these families.
Funds for this project will be used to produce several literature pieces and packets, with the goal of 200,000 pieces, that will go home with the kids from the Summer Camps, while impacting their families. In addition, snacks, games, and other standard materials will be purchased for the Summer Camp programs.

Bishkek House Project – $50,000
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
The goal of the Bishkek House Project is to provide a better suited, private space for team activities, rather than in team member apartments.
The uses of this house would include:
- Space for biblical, theological, and missional training,
- housing for long-term team members like
- interns and study abroad students, and
- community space for fellowship, hangouts, and meetings.
Given the right property, the Bishkek House could also provide space for some rural ministry and life-and-work development activities, such as gardening, bee-keeping, and raising chickens.

Algerian Media & Business Expansion – $50,000
Algiers, Algeria
As the capital and largest city in Algeria, and with a population of 3 million, Algiers city population consists of nearly 97% people practicing Islam today.
Funds for the project would be used to extend the Gospel through media outreach and follow-up. Teams will take time to produce evangelistic materials that reach the people in Algerian dialect.Currently, teams are engaged with an Unreached People Groups Oral Bible Project that has no documented resources in their language. Funds will also go to hire a translator with the purpose of developing an oral Bible story set in their local language, Taznatit.
Lastly, funds will go to Step Global BAM (Business as Missions), focusing on internship programs that allow more Christian witness and boots on the ground in Algeria.

Omani Media & Business Expansion – $30,000
With a population of 1.5 million people, Muscat is the capital of Oman. Here missionary teams plan to reach the beautiful Omani people through media and by equipping business leaders to extend the Kingdom right in their day-to-day operations. Funds will go to:
- Launching media ministry for the first time within Oman. This will include content, ads, and follow-up for those seeking Jesus.
- Funding Arab believers to join BAM (Business as Missions) to help follow up with those seeking the Gospel through media outreach and one-on-one discipleship.
- The Silver Chair Tourism BAM that is focused on bringing U.S. tourists for cultural and prayerful trips to Oman.

Bibles & Training in Egypt – $30,000
Cairo, Egypt
Let’s believe for all souls for Jesus in Egypt! Through resources, Bibles, and intentional training, we are believing for a great sweep of revival in Cairo.
Funds will go to resource development, which includes hard-copy and electronic resources (video teachings, e-curriculum) for Indigenous churches and discipleship. Also, funds will help with electronic resources for leadership development of Indigenous church-planters, and a website hub for leaders to access these resources securely. Additionally, the current resource library will be translated to Arabic for use.
Funds will also provide a ministry training center location in an unengaged area of Egypt. This training center is already legally approved but we need the finances to purchase or rent. This center will provide a secure space for emerging Indigenous ministry leaders to receive training and discipleship. In addition, this space will house spiritual fellowships for ministry and outreach in the community. In additions, funds will provide a ministry training center location in an unengaged area of Egypt. The Anapto Program – $30,000
Cairo, Egypt
The word “Anapto” means “to kindle” or “to ignite” in Greek. This is exactly what this program will do. In partnership with the Egyptian Assemblies of God, we are creating the first sending agency for long-term Egyptian global workers. The program will launch in January 2022 with the intention of commissioning global workers to establish church planting teams throughout the region as well as starting teams to work with unreached peoples in Egypt upon completing the program. Anapto is holistic, combining weekend classroom times with daily field assignments in their home area under the guide of a coach.
Funds will go to translation of lessons and materials into Arabic for use in the classroom, development of the online system and purchase of licenses, development of materials to help local churches begin praying for unreached people groups, translation of articles into Arabic for educating local pastors on missions and the mission of God, and development and translation of coaching materials.

Syrian and Iraqi Refugees – $30,000
Community Center in Turkey
This community center provides a safe, welcoming place for those who are refugees to find healing from trauma through community. They run English and Turkish conversation clubs, art therapy for women, small group therapy for men, and community building events like movie and game nights, family meal nights, and picnics. They also meet physical needs through clothing giveaways, furniture distribution, and grocery store gift cards during house visits.
Everyone who comes to the center knows that it is connected to a church which gives us a natural bridge to share the Gospel and pray with people for their needs. For those who express an interest in learning more, they meet with them to study the Bible, which has led to a group of new believers and seekers. We are praying that this group would be the start of a church planting movement among
Syrians and Iraqis in this city of Turkey.
The team is actively pursuing entering Syria and the funds would be used for registering and establishing a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) in Damascus that would give access to move our church planting team into Syria.

Church Plant – $30,000
Benghazi, Libya
Starting July 2022, Jonathan and Bethany are pioneering a church planting team in Benghazi, Libya! A city known for civil war will come face-to-face with a hope-bringing church. This new team would use the funds for:
- Establishing a food and hospitality business that aims to bring young Libyan families into relationship with believers,
- mobilizing and partnering with global workers to reach the Eastern parts of Libya, and
- launching a media ministry to evangelize seeking Libyans and to gather hidden believers in the East.

Relief Development in Yemen – $50,000
Years of conflict in Yemen have left their infrastructure shattered, thousands dead, millions internally displaced, and food insecure. The people desperately need hope.
The team in Yemen would use the funds to help set up and run relief and development projects, specifically in the sectors of special education, water, and sanitation. Funds would also help partially support Egyptian and Jordanian believers that are working in a professional capacity on the relief and development projects and who are part of the team.

Support & Sustainability in Morocco – $50,000
Driving a taxi cab, making bread, or owning a mobile coffee shop are examples of small businesses that could offer local pastors the flexibility to meet the demands of ministry while also providing for the financial needs of their families.
Many pastors are having a difficult time finding work due to the economic situation in Morocco, demands of ministry, and even social ostracism because of their faith in Christ. Funds will aid a small business program that will begin with a grant to start a small business, then continue with ongoing training and follow-up so that the business remains viable. Aiding these pastors to achieve a more sustainable life and ministry would be a catalyst for increased church planting.
Ongoing Missions Projects – $20,000
Partnering with Convoy of Hope, these projects are consistant needs in community, villages, and with global missionaries. Each project is for one unit for a year.

Feed A Child – $120
So many of the kids Mount Hope missionaries engage with receive much of their crucial nutrients from our partners like Convoy of Hope. By giving today, you can feed one of these kids in our global school programs—providing them with a hot meal and necessary community training, so they can learn and lead tomorrow.

Immediate Clean Water – $100
When disasters strike, globally clean water usually becomes a scarce and precious commodity. Give the gift of hope and life by providing immediate clean water to people in need. Your gift can make all the difference and empower our missionary partners to build lasting relationships that lead to eternal impacts.

Training Materials – $120
Around the world, our missionaries report so many girls face teen pregnancy, early forced marriage, and limited opportunities. Your gift today creates brighter futures for these girls through our missions partners Girls’ Empowerment groups. Let’s help these girls know how much they matter.

Restaurant Equipment – $300
What if you had the dream to own your own restaurant but had none of the resources you needed to get it off the ground? Support a budding entrepreneur by giving the gift of restaurant equipment. Help a woman spread hope through her skills and love of cooking. Help change culture at a global scale so we can see more of Jesus’ Kingdom come and His will done.

Solar Lantern & Phone Charger – $50
Has your cellphone ever run out of power? Have you ever needed a flashlight? Well, imagine that happening in the wake of a disaster. Now imagine you’re in a war-torn part of the world. Communication between local pastors and relief missionaries is critical when the bombs burst or the wind blows. Today, you can provide the crucial gift of a cellphone charger and solar lantern to someone in need!

School Garden – $1,500
Around the world, school gardens allow our partners to engage with students at a young age through hands-on projects, helping them gain agriculture skills and teaching them about nutrition in a fun and practical way. This produces village leaders and shows the whole community that Jesus cares about your whole life.

Community Well – $1,200
When a community lacks access to clean water, men, women, and children may walk miles each day to find it — keeping them out of school and possibly exposing them to disease. Your gift of a well can solve these problems! Without wells and basic needs, communities are more likely to be susceptible to extreme ideologies.

School Lavatory – $5,000
Without proper sanitation and hygiene, children are at risk. That’s why your gift of a lavatory can be the critical difference for a child’s healthy future. Empower our missionaries to build real relationships with local schools by providing them with resources to help when they see this need.
Local Projects – $750,000
We see churches and campuses planted all over Michigan that are irresistible to the presence of God, where supernatural signs and wonders testify that Jesus is alive in our midst. We see cities transformed by a heavenly invasion of God’s goodness that affects education, business, arts, government, family, and the media.

Mount Hope Campus Plants – $25,000 per Campus
In 2019, we received a word from the Lord that Mount Hope Church would “go from a mountain to a mountain range.” As Pastor Kevin has prayed about this prophetic word and other similar encounters with God, we are again responding with faith and action. It is our goal to plant 100 churches over the next 10 years. We understand that this is a massive endeavor, however we recognize that God calls us to do things that require faith and believe that anything is possible through Jesus Christ.
By far, the most effective disciple-making outreach is church planting—local expressions of Jesus built in such a way that they are accessible to the immediate culture. It’s true that the church is the hope of the world! We aim to plant 10 new campuses in the next year. These Mount Hope campuses will meet in cathedrals, boardrooms, restaurants, and parks—wherever people gather, we desire to be there. They will use their ministry and anointing to bring Jesus to their local subcultures within the Soul Zone.

Homeless Ministry – $50,000
When mental illness, addiction, abuse, and home chaos drive souls to a life on the streets, hope can be hard to find. Mount Hope partners weekly with Mid-Michigan agencies to provide longterm rehabilitation for those caught in the hell of homelessness.
We’ve found that with the right volunteers and partnerships, the average cost to help someone off the streets and into a successful program of holistic rehabilitation is $500. Would you consider today helping us provide the immediate needs of healthcare, food, shelter, and safety for 100 currently homeless individuals? We will serve these beautiful people into full health and stable living by praying, volunteering, and giving.

School Mentors & Youth Advocates – $20,000
Through People Ready Activating Youth (P.R.A.Y.) and The WORKPREP, partnered with the support of the Lansing mayor’s office, we’ll be providing an exclusive space to run several mentor programs aimed to strengthen relationships, diffuse youth conflicts, and prevent the spread of violence within our community. Principals of Everett, Sexton, Eastern, or Waverly have invited us to provide:
- Youth advocates and mentors to be present four hours per day
- Weekly sessions on mental strength and personal development
- Certified Life Coach, certified Innermetrix DISC Consultant and current Varsity Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Everett High school
- Featured sessions, field trips, and mentor moments for excelling students
- Monthly rewards for transformation students making progress on personal community impact goals
- Management of point system for students and parents who make contact with mentors and advocates for positive reinforcement or guidance on conflict resolution
- Kickoff school assemblies

Local Refugees – $25,000
Imagine watching your city fall to extremist violence—seeing loved ones run for their lives—having no place to find safety or medical care. Imagine wondering if the rumors of the American dream are true or just another fairytale that will end in more heartbreak. The United States has a long tradition of offering refuge to those fleeing persecution and war. This is in many ways because the U.S. has a long history of the Church owning her call to serve the least of these at a global scale.
Mount Hope Outreach Squads help with resettlement, a coordinated activity undertaken in partnership with U.S. government agencies, area NGOs and local Lansing churches. Resettlement to us is much more than six months and a food voucher. Where governments fall short, Mount Hope aims to pick up. After-school programs, Life Groups, job training, and societal integration are among the ways we serve.

Food Distribution – $25,000
There is an abundance of food in this nation, but plenty of people still go hungry. In this reality, the Church has a great opportunity to respond by faithfully following the biblical principle of being open handed to the poor and needy by maintaining well-stocked local food pantries and providing regular food distributions.
Sarah came through the food distribution line during the pandemic. She was homeless, hungry, and desperate. One year later, Sarah is a Mount Hope Life Group leader, attends the Creyts Campus regularly, and is an active volunteer on our food distribution outreach squad.
Of course, full stomachs still can be connected to empty souls. This is why every food distribution we are part of has a strong focus on prayer, a presentation of the Gospel of Jesus, and paths to join the life and family of the church.

K-12 Campus Outreach – $25,000
Many researchers have spoken about the age 4-14 window—the years that have the biggest impact on the trajectory of the rest of a person’s life. Help us serve the K-12 educational institutions with such excellence and availability that the result is Jesus lifted high in Mid-Michigan.
Gatorade drops at games, volunteers in lunch rooms, councils willing to serve—these are just a few examples of the readiness we aim to provide to local schools. Consider today how you can be part of the Mount Hope team and help with material costs, professional expenses, and volunteer hours.

Prison Ministry – $50,000
The prison system grows by society’s failure. Data shows prison populations grow more and more, year after year. Often, people who come out of prison are worse than when they went in. Many commit more crimes, return to prison, and get stuck in the cycle of recidivism, the “revolving door” of crime, prison, and release. The answer to this is not locking people up and “throwing away the key.” The answer is the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a demonstration of power and the accountability that comes from real biblical community!
Those in prison need regeneration, not just 12 steps to rehabilitation—and Jesus has commissioned His followers to reach beyond the barbed wire fences and steel bars to touch the lives of men and women bound by the shackles of sin. Jesus Christ Himself is our example for prison ministry: “To open blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house” (Isaiah 42:7).

Foster Care – $50,000
The lives of many children are often turned upside down due to situations that make parents or guardians incapable of providing a safe and caring environment, putting their children at risk of abuse and neglect. Most of us might have family to help in times of hardship, however some families are socially isolated, or their extended family is nonexistent, unavailable, or unable to help. These families have no other choice but to have their children removed from their homes and put into foster care.
But what if there was a better way to keep the children safe and restore the parents’ ability to provide and care for their children? This is in part what God created the Church for, and we are taking action and taking the lead in our community! With the help of Christine Lau, we are hosting vulnerable children and creating extended family with a community of godly people who are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and families intact.

Universities & College Campuses – $100,000
The next president, innovator, and culture driver all have one thing in common, they are most likely on a college campus right now. Mount Hope serves many campuses though volunteer squads and campus ministries with the goal of introducing students and faculty to an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this through creative campuses and accessible environments that focus on these areas:
- Prayer: Communication with God
- Worship: Expressions of thanks through word, music, and service
- Fellowship: Community of students developing quality relationships
- Discipleship: Learning about Jesus and following His example
- Mission: Living a life that reflects our relationship with God in what we say and do
Help us create these environments by giving and volunteering to serve today.

Train Business Missionaries – $100,000
One of the largest areas of the mission field lies right inside our businesses and companies, whether in our backyard or across the globe. Through ministries like The King’s Group, Mount Hope Leadership School, and Third Wave Missions, we seek to obliterate the lie that secular and holy must remain separate, and subsequently, to bring a solution to the struggle of missionaries gaining access to nations and people groups that are currently closed to the Gospel.
We aim to accomplish this by training teams to own successful businesses, develop skills, and grow their abilities to do legitimate and professional services all over the world to be a light and witness in the global marketplace.

Missionary Trauma Care – $125,000
Along with the normal rigors of life, missionaries often face physical, emotional, and spiritual traumas that those of us on the outside would never imagine. They face obstacles while living under hostile, spiritual oppression and often with fewer resources. Poor medical care, little to no mental health resources, and constant exposure to poverty, violence, and persecution lead to a growing crisis among our field workers. It is our objective to respond to these needs, however possible, to ensure our missionaries don’t have to leave the field for any reason that could have been prevented.
If one day, you or your child decides to say “yes“ to the call to be a missionary, Mount Hope is passionate about ensuring you are well equipped to finish the race strong and to not prematurely burn out as a result of isolation and trauma exposure. Gift cards, vacations, professional counseling, emergency evacuation, and hostage response are all things we have helped with in the past and are preparing to be excellent in as we move forward with a global presentation of the Gospel.

Creative Outreach – $50,000
Mount Hope believes in transformational teaching, healing, and delivering people from the bondage of the enemy. This starts by an encounter with God’s love and then an awareness that He has already been pursuing them.
We endevour to find creative ways to bring the Gospel to the lost and broken through multiple streams. We aim to create spaces for open discussion, open mic nights, creative expressions, and more to extend love to those who are lost in their purpose and identity.
We are not satisfied in watching other spiritual powers drive and architect our culture. Christians will take our rightful place as the most innovative, most creative, most passionate, and holy expressive people on earth. The nations will ask themselves where this creativity is coming from, and we will loudly proclaim the name of JESUS!

Mid-Michigan Pastor Care – $40,000
Mount Hope Church unapologetically is building strategy towards the vision of an entirely discipled region, The Soul Zone, a 50-mile radius around the campus on Creyts Road. We understand this is a whole Kingdom project, not just a one local church endeavor. Part of this includes a desperate need for strong, passionate, bold, and wise pastoral leadership across the region.
Help us send non-Mount Hope area pastors on retreats for spiritual revitalization. When Jesus and His disciples were so busy they didn’t even have time to eat, He said, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while” (Mark 6:31). However, this can be a challenge for pastors who are living on a tight budget. Mount Hope aims to provide practical rest for Mid-Michigan pastors who are leading legitimate disciple-making ministries. Help us provide refreshment to the refreshers!
Bringing Peace on Earth in 2020
Behind every prayer prayed and penny given, there is a life at the end of it.
Thank you!
Because of your faithful giving, we are carrying the gospel into all the world. People are being transformed, disciples are being equipped, and lives are being added to the Kingdom.
In 2020, Mount Hope Church supported 357 long-term missions in 123 different countries and gave $2,139,286.09 to Local and Global Missions, impacting lives right here in our neighborhoods and across the nations—that includes $136,786.09 to Speed The Light from our Mount Hope Youth in Spyn, and $50,000 to BGMC from our Mount Hope Kids in Kidz Connect.
