Campus Pastor
Ja’Von Jones, born in Lansing, has been involved in ministry since the age of fifteen after having a dramatic prodigal son experience. He pursued his ministry studies through Mount Hope Church Bible Training Institute (BTI), First Assembly of God of Greater Lansing, and then Michigan School of Ministry through the Assemblies of God. Ja’Von has served in outreach, youth, children, and prayer, and is passionate about seeing lives restored and put on the right track.
Ja’Von and his wife, Amanda, have four children, Sarinede, Destiny, Zion, and Zechariah. Over 20 years ago, Ja’Von had the privilege to serve at Mount Hope Church’s downtown location when he was attending BTI and feels it is an honor to serve in this capacity under Pastor Kevin and Renee Berry as our Downtown Campus pastor.
