MOUNT HOPE CHURCH GUIDELINES FOR FINANCIAL HELP
Thank you for contacting Mount Hope Church for help with your financial need. These guidelines have been established to explain what the criteria is to receive financial assistance and the application procedure. Please read these guidelines carefully and ask questions about any part you do not understand. The Mount Hope Church Financial Helps Fund is not set up as a food and finance outreach.
(View upcoming food distributions.) There are other local organizations that specialize in these types of outreaches. Please view our Community Resource Guide for available resources in our area.
The Mount Hope Church Benevolence Fund was established to help Mount Hope Church members who are facing a financial crisis situation. This includes assistance with temporary costs for housing, utilities (water, gas, electric, etc), current medical needs, or food.
GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS
- Our focus is first with our Mount Hope family, so tithing Mount Hope Members will receive first consideration.
- Cash or checks will not be given to you directly. When checks are written, they will be made payable to a company—for example, a leasing agency, mortgage company, utility company, or similar—and a valid bill must be provided.
- Financial assistance is meant for temporary rehabilitation, and should not be sought for supplemental income.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Everyone requesting financial help must complete the form below.
- Once you are healthier financially, please consider giving to the Mount Hope Church Benevolence Fund so others may be helped in the future. You can place it in an offering envelope designating it to be credited to the Benevolence Fund. This will replenish the account for others and will be credited to you as giving.
