Parent FAQs

Not Bummer Summer runs for four exciting days from Monday, August 11 through Thursday, August 14, from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day.

The camp is open to kids entering 1st–6th grade in the upcoming school year. We design our activities to be age-appropriate and engaging for each group. If you would like to attend Day Camp with your child, please register to be a volunteer or group leader! We want to ensure that all adults on the premises have been properly vetted as an added security measure for the children.

Camp takes place at Mount Hope Church at our Creyts Campus at 202 S Cedar St. Lansing, MI 48917, with both indoor and outdoor activities planned (weather permitting).

Registration for students is just $125, which includes all activities, supplies, lunch, and a Not Bummer Summer t-shirt! For families registering more than one child, each child after the first is $65. Volunteer and group leader registration is free.

We recommend kids bring a water bottle, their Bible, wear play-ready clothes and closed-toe shoes, and apply sunscreen before arriving. We’ll provide everything else they need for the day.

We’ll provide a daily lunch for all campers. If your child has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know during registration.

All of our leaders and volunteers are background-checked, trained, and passionate about helping kids grow in faith and friendship. We maintain a safe and encouraging environment throughout the day camp.

Your child’s safety is our top priority. We follow strict check-in/check-out procedures, have trained staff on-site, and are prepared for emergencies.

Registration is simple! Just head to our registration page and fill out the online form. Space is limited, so we recommend signing up early.

Absolutely! During registration, you can list any friend requests, and we’ll do our best to keep them together (as long as they’re in the same age group).
