Ernie and Carrie Bywater have been in ministry since 1995. Ernie s a United States Air Force veteran who served from 1982- 1997, holding roles such as avionics technician and Military Training Instructor, also earning a BA in Pastoral Ministry from Southeastern University and a master’s in organizational leadership from Evangel University. Together, the couple spent over 18 years in pastoral ministry in Northern Michigan before feeling called to a new chapter with Assemblies of God World Missions. They have served in both Network 211 a global evangelism ministry and Warrior’s Journey focusing on military ministry internationally. They are the parents of three adult children: Josh, Jacob and Jenna.
They currently are serving as Fully appointed AGUS Missionaries as Community Chaplains specialized to the veteran community and rural churches.
