Lauren directs Take5 Thailand, a church planting initiative that enables teams to reach university students through English teaching and friendship. She is currently heading up the team at Take5’s first location, the city of Lampang.

Lauren moved to Thailand in 2009 and started TLC English Center in Chiang Mai. TLC has had over 1,000 students, with many making decisions to follow Jesus. Getting to know students through classes and other activities helped Lauren and the TLC staff to share about Jesus with their friends. In 2015 Lauren moved to Lampang with the first Take5 Thailand team to plant a church through university ministry, English teaching, and building relationships in the community.
