Sam and Stephanie have been missionaries for over 20 years. Within their first 9 months of being married, they began their missionary adventure together when they moved to Baguio, Philippines, to serve as Missionary Associates for 1 year. After they completed their year of service in the Philippines, they committed to full time missionary service in Thailand, the country Sam grew up in as a Missionary Kid. For 17 years the Madduxes served as church planters in Bangkok and Southern Thailand, during which time their 3 daughters, Milania 10/08/2007, Eliana11/16/2010, and Isabella 02/20/2013 were born. The Madduxes had the privilege to help start 3 church planting works during their time in Thailand.
In 2022 the Madduxes began a brand-new adventure by joining the team at Life Publishers and becoming Project Directors for foreign language Fire Bible translation projects. Sam and Stephanie are overseeing the Silk Road Initiative, which is a multi-year initiative to produce the Fire Bible in multiple languages along the historic Silk Road. These language groups will largely be located in Central Asia targeting Muslim Background Believers.
