Aaron & Nanette Koepp
Country/Region: France
Mount Hope Supported Since: 2010
About our family:
Nanette and I met in college playing soccer and we both felt called to work in missions while attending SAGU in Waxahachie, TX. We were married in 2001 and approved as missionaries in 2005.
We have three very active little girls, Sonora (2008), Sahara (2010) and Savana (2014) each born in different countries. They are world travelers and can sing Happy Birthday in four or five different languages!
About our experience:
Our first assignment was in Morocco where we learned Arabic and worked alongside veteran missionaries in their church planting efforts. We also worked with Convoy of Hope in a rural area where there was no visible witness for Christ. We were the only Westerners in a city of over 120 000 people. As Christians in a closed Muslim country, “shining the light in the darkness” took on a whole new dimension for us there!
In 2012 we moved to Egypt and helped as team staff setting up Live Dead Cairo, a training team for new missionaries. It was an exciting time as we saw the team grow from the first team meeting of nine people, to over 70 people in just two years!
We arrived in Paris, France in 2016. We pastor an Arabic church in partnership with a French AG church.
