Jerry and April have served in missions since moving to Belgium with their three children in 2001. They started out serving with International Media Ministries and International Christian Academy and as support staff with Christian Center, an international Church during their first three year term as Missionary Associates. They became fully appointed Missionaries in 2005 as they felt God was calling them to serve as career missionaries for the log term.

In 2007 they started Breaking Chains Network, a ministry to trafficked and exploited women in the red-light district of Antwerp, Belgium. This ministry has grown over the years and has included street outreach, transition home ministry, the Oasis Center- outreach and ministry center, and the Oasis Cafe. In addition, over the years, they have been invited to do training across Europe for anti-trafficking ministries and organizations.

Recently they have been invited to extend ministry into Canada by making their trafficking prevention program available to churches and communites across Canada. They endeavor to encourage, educate, and equip local leaders in their efforts to ministry to those who are sexually exploited through human trafficking and prostitution in their communities. Other ministries areas they are involved in include supporting leadership through serving on the Western Europe and the North Atlantic and Canada Area Directors teams as Jerry helps missionaries with budgets and retirement training.April serves with several ministries, including Project Rescue and European Ministry Network, through education and training projects and programs as well as has taught classes for Continental Theological Seminary (Belgium) and currently teaches for the Alaska School of Ministry. Both April (Alaska District) and Jerry (Pen-Florida) are Ordained ministers with the AG. Jerry has a BA in Business Administration and April has an MA in International Community Development.
