Thank God (Ps. 100:4)

  • Psalm 91:1: Thank you, God, that as I abide in You, hidden in my place of prayer, I am hidden in Your shadow.
  • Psalm 61:4: Thank you, God, I will abide in You and obey You. My trust is in You.
  • John 8:31: Thank you, God, that I am Your disciple because I abide in You. I spend time with You in my place of prayer meditating, listening and talking to You, God.
  • 2 Cor. 9:10: Thank you, God, for providing me with the financial increase, supplying me with all my needs. Thank you, God, that because of your provision I am a generous giver.

Ask God (Jn. 14:13-14)

  • Mark 12:33: God, I ask you to increase Your love in my heart. Please help me, God, to love my neighbor as myself.
  • 1 Cor. 1:10: God, I ask you for unity and harmony in my family, workplace, and church. God, let unity begin with me.
  • Romans 12:2: God, I ask that my life would be a reflection of You in all that I do. I pray, God, that as I spend time with You in my place of prayer, abiding and meditating on Your word, I will become more like You in every area of my life.
  • John 3:16: God, I ask You to bring salvation to all those who are dear to my heart and do not know You as their savior. I pray, God, that each of my family members or friends that have never experienced your mercy and love would receive a touch today of Your love and mercy.

Listen (Matt. 10:27) What is God saying?

  • I wait on You, knowing You want to speak to me, too.
  • I quiet my soul of all the commotion of life and rest in You.
  • God, I wait on You to speak to me as I spend time with you reading Your Word and talking to You.
  • I abide in You so I may hear You clearly.
  • I choose to spend time with You and listen for Your voice today.

He is saying:

  • 1 Peter 5:7: Cast your burdens on Me for My yoke is light.
  • John 16:33: Be of good courage, I have overcome the world.

Know who God is. (Ps 46:10, Ps 4:3)

  • Psalm 119:105, Titus 1:1: You light my path and You always show me the way.
  • Matthew 8:23-27: Your love will never fail me. Even in the storms, you see me through. You speak to me from the storm and show me the way through the storm. You instruct me in the night hour.
  • 2 Corinthians 1:20: Your promises are for me today. I know, God, that You are never changing. You are the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
